FACING THE PAST
Utter was commissioned to create a Brand Identity for Facing the Past.
Facing the Past is a Heritage Lottery-funded project that aims to address Lancaster’s links to transatlantic slavery, through heritage research and community arts.
They needed an identity that could be a focal point in the communication of Facing the Past and the conduit to new understanding and an important cultural response to the complexity of slavery issues both historic and connected to the present day.
